Kangana Ranaut Turns Victorian Princess For Designer Anju Modi At India Couture Week 2018
India Couture Week is back at the Capital with displaying India’s top couturier’s regal collection. This is the only week that consists of mesmerizing bridal wear collection, sparkle, and Bollywood Fashionistas closing the show and every season it takes the game up. The day-1 of couture week saw a dreamy Victorian collection by ace designer Anju Modi.
Kangana Ranaut turned muse for the designer and casts her magic on the runway with an outfit that perfectly describes the Queen. Her ensemble featured a high-waist puffy lehenga skirt with a sweetheart neckline blouse, the deep-toned velvet cape-style overcoat added the much-needed drama to her look. She accentuated her look with smokey eyes and a half up hair that gave the Vintage feels.
The designer collection A Maiden’s prayer depicts the glamour and edginess of the Victorian era. She stepped back in time and brought the era gone by to life on the runway silhouettes, cuts, and rich fabrics. One can see the fresh sense of romanticism and timelessness throughout the collection with a-line skirts to fit and flare and fishtail lehengas.
